- Border Fencing with Indo-Myanmar – The Governor highlighted the strategic importance of border fencing in Arunachal Pradesh, stressing its role in preventing illegal infiltration, arms smuggling, drug trafficking, and insurgent movements. He emphasized that the robust fencing infrastructure, along with designated crossing points, is essential to securing the region and promoting socio-economic development.
- Inner Line Permit (ILP) System – Parnaik underscored the significance of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) as a key safeguard for the state, ensuring the preservation of demographic balance and protecting the rights of the indigenous communities. The ILP system is crucial in regulating the entry of non-residents and maintaining law and order.
- Internal Security and Surrender Policy – The Governor reviewed the overall security situation and acknowledged the efforts of the state police in maintaining peace. He encouraged continued vigilance and proactive measures to ensure long-term stability and development in Arunachal Pradesh.
